It's Time For A Change!

I don't know about you but it seems like something is always conspiring against me and interfering with the time I want (need?) to make music. Over the next 30 days I am going to be moving and unable to complete a tune I have been working on (for far too long because of other interference). So I think I shall stop here. Damn.

I grew up in the 60's with the Viet Nam War being reported on like football scores. I was a little too young to be a real hippy but I made the best of it anyway. Life sort of came full circle and today seems like a repeat. So I figured to make a political statement since we are going to voting for new leadership in the US come November.

So I figured I'd toss the tracks out to my collaborative friends to have at it. The tracks are available as compressed 32-bit 48K wav files. (See below.) Feel free to slice and dice and come up with something totally different. Just send a note to [e-mail] so I can enjoy the results. Meanwhile, I have an internal debate going: should I stay or should I go. I can do better lyrics and vocals but I am way pressed for time. Form or content? The way it looks, I won't have time to redo any of it before August or later.... Damn!
